After looking through my old projects and listening to my 2015 release 'Beach House EP', I couldn't believe how much I still enjoyed the songs and how well they worked together as an album. While listening, all I thought was missing was a better mix. I had mixed them myself back when I wrote them and had no idea what I was doing so did the best I could.

I wondered if I still had the original projects and to my surprise I found them saved on an old hard drive. Excited I still had them, I decided to run them by my friend and mixing engineer, Benedict Roff-Marsh to see if he was interested in remixing the EP. I'm so incredibly grateful he did because now we're able to share with you the record I always wanted it to be with brand new mixes using all the original tracks I recorded at home in 2015.

The guitars a bigger, the synths are brighter and the influences really shine through. I'm even excited for you to hear my early vocals as I was exploring the different sounds I was able to make. To celebrate, I also got in touch with Chezla to make a brand new cover which complete's the dreamy, melancholic feeling of the re-release. Chezla's image captures the scene of sun, sand and youth, and throws them in a fishbowl of memories.
